On May 18th, Blaise and Rustin celebrated their marriage in true Boston style. They celebrated a timeless, moody, and intimate Harvard Club of Boston wedding that was nothing short of unforgettable. From the historic charm of the venue to the deeply personal details sprinkled throughout the day, this celebration was the perfect blend of elegance and sentimental meaning.

Getting Ready for Their Special Day

The day started with Blaise and Rustin getting ready in separate locations. Rustin was at his apartment, and Blaise at the beautiful Whitney Hotel in Boston. Both spaces offered the perfect backdrop for those quiet, anticipatory moments before the day truly began. We then traveled to Back Bay for their wedding ceremony, which took place at St. Cecilia’s Church. This church is one of Boston’s most iconic spaces, filled with light and so much history.

Why They Chose a Harvard Club of Boston Wedding

Blaise and Rustin intentionally chose the Harvard Club of Boston for their reception because of its moody, vintage, old-money aesthetic. The venue perfectly matched their vision: warm wood tones, historic details, and a rich sense of timeless elegance. It was the kind of place that feels both grand and intimate—ideal for their celebration.

Guests traveled from all over, including as far as the Philippines (a 20+ hour journey!!!), to celebrate with them. That kind of dedication says everything about this couple and their community. The room was filled with so much care, love, and support.

Personal Details That Made Their Harvard Club of Boston Wedding Special

One thing that made this Harvard Club of Boston wedding stand out was the care Blaise and Rustin put into personal touches. They added film photography to their package to match the vintage vibe of the space, and the results were breathtaking—soft, nostalgic, and perfectly in tune with the venue’s aesthetic.

They had an elegant champagne tower, a stunning homemade wedding cake baked by Rustin’s aunt, and a dance floor that stayed full until the very last song. It was the perfect mix of Boston charm and heartfelt celebration.
