There are some weddings that stay with you long after you’ve packed up your cameras. Chyenne & Jon’s Harrington Farm wedding is one of those days I’ll never forget. On a crisp October afternoon in Massachusetts, their celebration blended heartfelt moments, personal flair, and the kind of joy that makes photographing fall weddings in New England feel like a dream job.
I first met Chyenne and Jon a year before their wedding during their engagement session. From the moment we started shooting, they settled into the engagement photo experience. Our relationship was so natural. We were laughing, playing, easing into poses with the kind of comfort that comes from trust. By the end of the session, they knew I was the New England wedding photographer for them! That comfort and connection made their entire wedding feel effortless to photograph. Also, they already knew what it was like to be in front of my camera, and their wedding gallery reflects that ease.
Harrington Farm is already such an iconic New England venue with warm wood interiors and stunning views. In October, it’s a stunning country-inspired backdrop with peak fall foliage. But what made this day truly unforgettable were the personal, meaningful details woven throughout the celebration.
This moment was one of the most tender parts of the day. Instead of a traditional first look with her groom, Chyenne chose to share that moment with her grandparents. The emotion, gratitude, and legacy in that moment felt like the heartbeat of their entire day.
If you’ve ever dreamed of a classic fall Harrington Farm wedding, this was it. The grounds were glowing, creating the perfect backdrop for portraits and candid moments.
Their reception was pure fun. The t-shirt toss had every guest on their feet! Not to mention, the Pittsburgh cookie table (a nod to PA tradition) was overflowing with homemade cookies. These little touches are the things that make weddings so personal and so worth documenting in a way that feels real and story-driven.
Lastly, my personal favorite moment of the night—Chyenne performing on an aerial hoop. The room went wild. It was such an incredible way to bring her personality and talent into the day. It reminds me why I love capturing weddings that lean beautifully into who you are. Unlike what tradition says you should be.
Undoubtedly, my favorite part of documenting weddings like this is making sure every gallery feels personal and lived-in. I aim to photograph your day in a way that helps you remember exactly how it felt. Your people, your inside jokes, your family traditions, the energy that makes your love story yours.
Chyenne and Jon’s Harrington Farm wedding was the perfect example of how meaningful, emotional, and joy-filled a day becomes when you fully embrace what makes your story unique.
If you’re dreaming of a wedding day captured with a balance of candid storytelling, gentle direction, and nostalgic, true-to-life images, I’d love to photograph your celebration.
