If there’s one thing that proves love shines through no matter the weather, it’s Tori and Mike’s Cape Cod backyard wedding. Set in the charming coastal town of Falmouth, Massachusetts, their early September celebration was filled with heartfelt moments, joyful energy, and a whole lot of dancing—even as the rain gently fell.
Firstly, the day began at the First Congregational Church in Falmouth, MA, where Tori and Mike exchanged vows. With timeless wooden pews and beautiful stained glass windows, the church provided a classic New England backdrop for their ceremony. Their love was palpable, and not even the drizzle outside could dull the sparkle of the moment. They said their “I dos” surrounded by their closest family and friends.
Afterwards, guests made their way to Tori’s mom’s home nearby for an intimate backyard reception. This Cape Cod backyard wedding was everything a coastal celebration should be—relaxed, inviting, and filled with heartfelt details. Filled with lobster rolls and other decant plates, guests clinked glasses beneath the white tent, and laughter echoed all night.
Even with the light rain, spirits stayed high. Umbrellas and covered tents kept everyone dry, and the weather brought a kind of cozy magic to the evening. The speeches brought both tears and laughter, and when the dance floor opened up, it was packed all night long!
I had the joy of second shooting this special day and witnessing so many candid, in-between moments that made this wedding one to remember. Huge thanks and photo credit go to Vanessa Falcone Weddings, the lead photographer and artist behind the main gallery.
